DSCC at Malak

The DSCC at Malak provides a friendly atmosphere for learning about computers, especially for seniors, and people with disabilities.

The club room in Nightcliff has been closed since 31/10/09.


New arrangements to allow club members to continue and expand activities have been made available at the Community Arts Centre at the Malak Shops.

The Telecentro and Club computers are open for use from 2pm to 4pm Monday to Friday. Other times may be available by booking the room in advance.

Regular monthly meetings will continue at the Casuarina Library as usual

General Meeting Room

The DSCC meets monthly at:

First Saturday of each month,
2pm - 4pm,
Casuarina Public Library meeting room,
Bradshaw Terrace,
Casuarina NT

The Casuarina Library Meeting Room is off a small courtyard, which is located to the left of the Library's main entrance. At the time of the Club's meetings, the Meeting Room cannot be be reached through the main entrance - you have to go through the courtyard.

Courses and Tuition available

Subject to teacher availability, the Malak Hub offers three options for beginners:

  • In small classes (Monday,Tuesday or Friday 2pm-4pm);
  • Study by yourself, at the Club (during club hours) or in your home.

DSCC Meetings

Monthly meetings are held at the Casuarina Library on the first Saturday of each month (except January) at 2.00pm.
